Summer Tours of Houses of Worship, now in its 19th year, is sponsored by Toledo Area Ministries. Free and open to the public, we hope you will join us as we explore Toledo area houses of worship. Learn about the worship space, history, worship styles, what they believe and their mission and ministry within the community. Tours are on the 2013 Erase the Hate schedule because we hope that as you learn how your neighbors worship and are involved in the community, you will have a greater understanding of who they are. Most of the sites are accessible and have adequate parking.

The MultiFaith Council of NW Ohio is joining Peace One Day, Religions for Peace, and its Faith Coalition with this local event Plant Peace: planting of Peace Tree, MultiFaith Prayers for Peace, Music, Arts, Garden Tours, Annual MultiFaith Harvest Festival. Founded in 1999, Peace One Day led a successful campaign to unanimously pass in 2001 the UN Resolution recognizing 21 September Peace Day as a day of global ceasefire and non-violence.

- Learn 12 Steps to deal with difficult people (even your family or friends).
- Improve communication and coping skills when dealing with tough situations like bullying and peer pressure.
- Share your talents and life experiences with other youth who are coming together to understand the power of compassion in their own lives, and to help Greater Toledo and NW Ohio become a “Compassionate Community”.

Come and experience a staged reading of "8," a new documentary play by Academy Award-winner Dustin Lance Black (Milk, J. Edgar) about the federal case for marriage equality. 11th Annual MultiFaith Banquet The 11th Annual MultiFaith Banquet will be held at the Franciscan Center of Lourdes University on Sunday, Mar 11, 2012, from 3:30 - 7:00 PM. We will start with a Youth Festival to celebrate Diversity, the annual Erase the Hate Youth Event, as our program. A mixer with faith displays and appetizers will follow. The dinner will include facilitated table discussions led by Rev. Ed Heilman. The theme will be how the diverse faith traditions involve youth.
